Alyssa Godesky

Amanda Basham
She discovered trail running in 2014 after an injury from pounding the pavement. She was instantly hooked and jumped into the ultra scene. She made it a goal to become an elite trail runner and accomplished that goal in 2015 by winning the 50 mile USATF Trail Championships. Since then she has placed 4th at Western States 100 twice, 2nd at CCC 100k, 1st at TransAlpine, and top 20 at UTMB, to name a few. She hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams through relentless forward progress.

Annie Hughes
In 2022, Annie placed 1st female, 3rd overall, and broke the course record by 14 hours at the Cocodona 250. She then went on to place 1st female, 2nd overall and set a new course record at the High Lonesome 100. She also finished out the season with a win at the Run Rabbit Run 100.
Annie is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Buena Vista, Colorado during her senior year of high school. She went on to run cross country and track for Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado before discovering her love for the mountains and testing her limits on the trails in 2019. Annie now lives and trains year-round in Leadville, Colorado where she is also an online ultra running coach for Sharman Ultra.
Ben Robinson
Ben Robinson is an entrepreneur, race director, and runner from Tunkhannock, PA. After graduating from Lock Haven University in 2016, Ben ran across Pennsylvania before moving short term to Park City, UT and Boulder, CO where he fell in love with trail running and the community. He signed up for his first 50k trail race in 2017 at UROC and won by an hour! Since then, Ben has traveled the USA and Europe fulfilling his passion and seeking that next dose of adrenaline through trail running and skyrunning. Ben is a race director in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where he and his team put on The Wyoming Valley Run, Miller Mountain Trail Challenge, and Howland 5 Mile Race.

Devon Yanko
Devon Yanko has run more than 50 Marathons (including 40 sub 3 hour marathons) and 65 Ultras since 2006. She is a 7 time member of Team USA including 2009 Gold Medal winning team in Belgium for the 100k and 2019 silver medal team in Romania for the 50k. In 2007, 2012 & 2015 Devon was the RRCA Marathon National Champion. In 2010 and 2019 50 mile road National Champion, 2011 100k road National Champion and 2012 & 2016 Olympic Trials marathoner. Devon has a marathon PR of 2:38:55 and set the Fastest Known Time on the Grand Canyon R2R2R trail with Krissy Moehl in April 2011.
Among other incredible accomplishments Devon has three times on top 10 fastest lists for performances by North American runners including 50km, 100km and 100 mile and the 3rd fastest all-time trail 100 mile time. A total of 3 Comrades Marathon gold medals (Top 10s). She won the inaugural Ultrarunning Magazine Race Series and has podium finishes at Western States 100 mile in 2016 (3rd place) and at Leadville 100 in 2017 (1st place). Most recently, in 2022 Devon won the Javelina 100 and Umstead 100 and was named as 6th female Ultrarunner of the Year by UltraRunning Magazine.
Hillary Allen
Based out of Boulder, CO, Hillary Allen is an professional trail runner, gravel cyclist, running coach, author, podcast host, and scientist. She earned the nickname “Hillygoat” for her love of steep uphills and technical trail running. Starting her career in 2014, winning the US SkyRunner Series, Hillary has raced all over the world from short sky races to long, 100 mile races. After a life-threatening accident in 2017, falling 150 feet off of a ridge line during a sky race, Hillary was told she would never run again. Years later, after redefining her relationship with endurance sport, Hillary is back competing at the elite level and believes that her best athletic days are ahead of her.
Ian Sharman
Ian has been racing around the world in all styles of event since 2005 and coaching since 2010, having run over 250 marathons (PR: 2:21) and ultramarathons in every type of weather and on all terrains. Ian has won over 50 multi-day races, road marathons, trail ultras, and adventure races with experience of running in many mountain ranges, including the Himalayas, Andes, Rockies, and European Alps. He also holds the fastest combined time for 10 finishes at the Western States 100 and is the only person to do so under a week of total time, including nine top 10 finishes. Alongside those incredible accomplishments, Ian holds the record for the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning (69h49m), has won the USATF 100-mile trail championship twice, and is the 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Leadville Trail 100 Champion. Ultra Running Magazine has voted him as high as 2nd in its annual Ultra Runner of the Year Rankings and 4th in the Ultra Runner of the Decade list.

Jake Jackson
Jake Jackson is a husband, father of three, and works as a truck driver living in Loma Linda, CA. He picked up running as a way to lose weight and soon discovered he had a passion for pushing his limits both physically and mentally. After years of chasing marathons Jake jumped into running ultras and has established himself as a top runner on both flat road/ track ultras as well as mountainous races. Outside of running Jake enjoys playing and listening to music and spending time with his family.

Jeff Browning
Jeff Browning (aka Bronco Billy) is a veteran ultra runner and endurance coach. He has competed in some of the world’s hardest and most competitive ultra mountain races for over two decades, including Western States 100, Ultra Fiord in Patagonia Chile, Europe’s Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc, and Ultra Trail Mount Fuji in Japan. He’s also a 7-time finisher and 2018 champion of the wild and tough Hardrock 100 in SW Colorado.
He has finished nearly 200 ultra marathons in his career, racking up over 40 career ultra wins — 29 of those at the 100-mile plus distance, making him 2nd in the world for the most 100 mile wins in history.
He’s been ranked seven times in the Top Ten of Ultrarunning Magazine’s North American Ultrarunner of the Year and ranked third in Ultrarunning Magazine’s North American Ultrarunner of the Decade (2010-2019). He holds multiple course records, including Moab 240. Jeff pulls from his wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for ultra trail running and exploring the mountains in order to help other endurance athletes improve and succeed.

Karl Meltzer
Karl Meltzer has been running Ultramarathons since 1996. Karl is the winningest 100-mile trail runner on earth, currently with 49 100-mile wins, and 73 total ultramarathon wins. Karl has won at least 1, 100-miler for 21 years straight and counting. Karl has also won 6 100 mile races in one calendar year, setting 3 records in the process.
Karl also broke the Appalachian Trail record in 2016, completing the grueling “AT” in 45 days, 22 hours, 38 minutes. The trail is 2193 miles long with 485,000’ of vertical gain over extremely tough trail surfaces. This was his third attempt at this goal. Perseverance prevailed. The film “Make to be Broken” (the story of the AT record) can be found on Red Bull TV, along with Netflix and YouTube. The “Red Bull Human Express” film is also on Red Bull TV. The filming of Karl running the entire Pony Express trail (2064 miles) from Sacramento, California to St. Joseph, Missouri.
Karl is an online coach and has been coaching since 2008. Helping runners achieve lofty goals, primarily on trails and longer distances. Karl’s future goal consists of reaching 100, 100-mile finishes. He currently has finished 81.
Karl has been with UltrAspire since the early 2000s and continues to inspire runners of all ages to run 100s and beyond.

Mike McKnight
Mike McKnight has been running ultras for just over a decade. His intro to ultras was very unique. In 2012 he broke his back in a skiing accident. His injury caused him to lose his job and defer his college classes for a full year. He miraculously recovered within a few weeks, and because he didn’t have a job or classes to attend, he started running a lot of miles every day. This put him on a path to ultra running, and hasn’t looked back. Mike has an amazing wife and two kids, and resides in the mountains of Northern Utah. He loves pushing his limits and believes that comfort is a waste of potential.

Patrick Reagan
Patrick Reagan, better known as The Peach, is from Savannah GA. Patrick was born in Southwestern PA and educated in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University He has a love for both road and trail ultras including Western States, Comrades Marathon, Javelina Jundred, Ultravasan, and the IAU 100K World Championships. He is the owner and operator of Patrick Reagan Running Coaching Services and co-host of Tortoise & the Hare Podcast. When not running, Patrick is listening to Texas fiddle swing, ragtime, jazz, and jug band records with his wife Adrienne and their pets.

Pete Mortimer
Peter Mortimer is a coach, ultra runner, and full time medical professional based out of Flagstaff AZ. Peter began his ultra-running journey in 2014 completing his first 50 mile event at the Man Against Horse race and his first 100 mile at the Javelina Jundred just a few weeks later. Over the last 10 years, he has propelled himself into the hardest races in the world including the Dragons Back Race across Wales, the 268 Mile Montane Spine Race, the Barkley Marathons, and the Hurt 100 which he won in 2022. He also won the Mogollon Monster 100 and the Man Against Horse Race in 2023 beating the horses outright which only one other person has managed to do since it’s inception. He also set a record in 2023 for summiting Mt. Humphreys, Arizona’s highest peak, 56 times in a calendar year. When he’s not running around the world or on the San Francisco Peaks, you’ll most likely find him volunteering at many of the Arizona races crewing, pacing, or cooking for all the runners. Peter originally hails from Europe spending much of his childhood growing up in England and Italy. His sense of adventure drives him to motivate others and push themselves beyond their boundaries.

Tara Dower
On the Appalachian Trail Tara is known as Candy Mama. She received that name during her nearly 6 month thru hike of the 2,200 mile trail in 2019. That experience inspired her to live life to the absolute fullest and she made a vow to spend as much time on trails as possible. As a wife of a U.S. Navy Diver Tara moves around the country often. She began exploring ultras in California in 2021 and ran her first 100 miler that October in North Carolina. After that first 100 mile race it became her new obsession. Since 2021 she has run 17 ultras and podiumed in all but 3. Tara has set Fastest Known Time speed records on the Mountains-To-Sea Trail (1,175 miles), Benton MacKaye Trail (289 miles), and the Colorado Trail (486 miles). She enjoys spending long days and nights on trail and hopes to be doing that for the rest of her life. If you see Tara during a race say hi! She loves to chat.
