Technologies-
Low Weight™: Lightweight components and materials create an almost unnoticeable on-the-body feel without compromising durability.
Steady Beam™: Prevents eye fatigue by maintaining a steady lumen output that does not dim until the battery is very low.
Stable Ride™: Proportional weight distribution combined with our conical belt shape create balanced load and a no-bounce ride.
Fatigue Free™: Intuitive settings, large buttons, and quick release buckles. Easy operation for fatigued minds in extreme circumstances.
AutoCool™: Heat dispersing fins mounted in and around the light passively dissipate heat, keeping the light cool and efficient during heavy use.
Widebeam™: Like daylight. Let your eyes roam freely without adjusting between light and dark areas. Even lighting eliminates headaches and tunnel vision.
Enduralight™: Sturdy construction and aircraft grade aluminum provide better durability and improved hot and cold tolerance while reducing overall weight.
PerfectAngle™: Easily adjust up, straight, or down to suit your terrain. Illuminate your path while keeping your head and body in a natural running position.

This light is great for trail running. I wear 2 lights, a headlamp and this waistlight when running technical trails. The design is great for staying put on my waist, and staying pointed where I want. I had used the smaller 220z one earlier that kept jostling to a downward position when I’d take a hard landing. This 400z on the other hand doesn’t readjust. Yay. They advertise that the waistlight provides a better depth perception, and I agree. Note this lamp uses an 18650 battery, same as the 600z, but this lamp is much lighter. If you don’t need all those lumens of a 600z, get this one. Your battery will last longer, and it fits better in your pack. I use this lamp on the ‘medium’ setting, and it works fine.

This light is excellent for early morning or late night road running and easy trail running. The rear red light is excellent and the storage space for a phone, keys, id, and snacks is a wonderful addition.

Total game changer! I’ve been running with the 400z for the last few months and I could not be happier with the overall design. The belt on the 400 is super comfortable, adjusts very easily and has plenty of room if you run with a cell phone . The brightness is absolutely perfect and I was shocked how well the 3D effect works. If you are looking for something that really lights the trail and or road ahead of you, look no further!

So much field of depth compared to a headlamp. The 3D field of depth from this waist belt isnt a marketing gimmick. The belt is very comfortable with no bounce. I’ve stopped using a headlamp since getting my 400Z
