The Spry 4.0 is a minimalist pack that can be utilized in a variety of settings. The improvements on the award winning Spry series improve functionality, comfort, and durability. For capacity, the front harness pockets have been updated to accommodate a variety of hydration or gear comfortably and securely. The back panel has a sweat-proof liner under polyester mesh to keep the contents in the main compartment dry but still breathable during longer adventures. A sweat-proof zippered pocket alongside the main compartment allows for storage of items you want secure and dry. The main compartment is a 4-way stretch mesh designed to expand or compress to the load and is built to carry a 1 liter reservoir. The magnetic closure on the main compartment keeps the contents secure and provides quick accessibility. The back panel also features a shock cord to carry additional clothing if needed. The UltrAcool Light Mesh on the shoulder and harness of the Spry 4.0 make the pack very durable and incredibly lightweight. One size fits most.

I use many of the UltrAspire products including the SPRY 3 vest, which I LOVE, so I hesitated on purchasing the SPRY 4, thinking “how can you improve the perfect vest??”, well, you CAN!. The SPRY 4 vest updated the pocket structure. You now have 4 front pockets that are deeper and the angle of the pocket is more reliable. On the SPRY 3, when I placed something in the smaller “trash pocket” I felt like it would fall out and the pocket was not as large as I wanted. Now on the SPRY 4, the pockets in the front can fit a 550 flask, gels, phone, gloves, etc. I mainly use my 1 liter bladder for fluids, but you can use front loaded bottles on this vest. The shock chord is still easily adjustable and the vest remains super breathable and no bounce. For the price, you cannot get a better quality vest on the market.
