The ISO Pocket 3.0 Handheld is a vast improvement over other UltrAspire handheld bottles. I had tried the 550 handheld earlier and while it worked for shorter runs, it lacked a pocket for stashing a gel, car key, hotel room key or anything else.
However, the 3.0 handheld offers plenty of storage space for those items without seeming bulky. I’ve tested it out on runs up to 14 miles and never thought once that it was weighing or slowing me down. Instead, I actually forgot that I was carrying it for long stretches — but glad I had it when I needed to pop in a gel for refueling.
This is a terrific handheld bottle that can be used for training runs, races, hikes and more.

I have tried numerous handhelds in the past and always hated them, hence why I ended up moving to UltrAspire vests. However, I needed a handheld to carry fluids, gels, and keys for my shorter trail runs under 10 miles, as my vest is not needed for this!
This is truly the first handheld I have found comfortable. I forget I am carrying it, and not having to hold onto it means I can focus on hitting speed when I want to on downhills or flats. I have even paired it with the momentum vest for a 20 mile technical training run covering 3,000ft. Vest was used as my mobile aid station, and I would fill up my handheld with fluids and fuel once in a while.
Overall, a FANTASTIC handheld, and I’m sure glad I gave it a shot!

The ISO 3.0 Pocket Handheld is what I have been looking for runs trail or road under 10 miles. It holds what I need (chapstick and gels) for that distance.

Perfect for medium length runs to where you’ll need some nutrition as well as hydration. Sits in the hand very well.

Best handheld I’ve tried so far. I’ve tried a handful of hand held bottles but this one is the most comfortable and easy to carry. The storage pocket is great for storing keys.

Bottle itself is great, fits the hand great. Very comfortable and like running with it. However, the top is overly sensitive. The slightest pressure with your hand and water is spraying everywhere. If I am climbing and my hands are on my knees with a bottle in hand, water sprays everywhere. With there was a way to lock it shut.

Great handheld! Fits right into the hand and comfortable. Has a little storage compartment for some nutrition, like a gel or something… good for medium distance runs or buy two and you can go longer!

Ummmm, why was I living under a rock on this handheld! I love my Race 550 handhelds and wanted to give to ISO Pocket a shot!! I am glad I did! the larger lid allows for better fuel adding and sipping with the tilted neck! I like how the curve of the bottle is slightly formed to allow for a natural grip without being fully rounded. Feels great and rides well on runs!! Will pair with the Fitted Race Belt on race days!!

No brainer purchase alert!! No more fumbling at aid station’s trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. The wide brim design on the ISO solves this problem for getting large cubes of ice into where it needs to be and quickly. Dial into comfort for extended amounts of time and this handheld is your jam!!

Bought lots of UltrAspire products in the past which has really good material. This just seems very cheap and bottle leaked on first run. Needless to say not happy.

Hello Bob, Thanks for sharing this experience with us. We have a replacement cap on the way to you right now that should help resolve this issue.

Great handheld for shorter runs. This was my first handheld I owned and I still use it years later. Holds a decent amount of water, and the outside pouch is great for holding car keys, ids, or a few gels. The fabric can also take a beating, as I’ve met ground on a number of occasions during my outings and the handheld just keeps on trucking.
