Near perfect. Have 2 of these and use them for ultra training in Arizona for close to 2 months now in extreme summer desert heat, and have plenty of miles in it to actually review it. It is my favorite vest. ( I also have 2 Salomon ADV Skin 5) Pros: WAY lighter than the S. Does not hold sweat and get heavy like the S. The higher cut in the back is great in the heat. The material is very sturdy and extremely breathable. Does not move when running. Con’s – the water bottles tend to slip down, ( my “S” do not slip) when they get less than 1/2 full. The cords they use to hold the bottles could use an upgrade as they are thick and need to be manually tightened by tying a knot. It is really annoying. It could also use 1 secure pocket in the front. When the pockets are full and the water bottles are full everything is secure but as you use your nutrition and the bottles get lower things slip around. The “saddlebags” also need to be a bit more secure as things can slip out. Overall It is my go to because the fit, weight and comfort far exceeds my “S” 4.5 stars

I flat out love my Bronco race. I just completed a 100K race in it. I love how high it rides and how balanced it feels when loaded. My other Ultimate Direction race vest was unbalanced when I had a bladder in the back and would bounce a ton when I had two water bottles in the front. I love how featherlight it is. The only thing I would suggest is a secure pocket in the front so small items don’t jiggle out when the water bottles are emptier. I don’t think I’ll ever use the other pack again now that I’ve got this.

I have had this pack (but in red) since it came out. It is a favorite because it is so comfortable and doesn’t jiggle and wiggle at all. I really like that it is cut up high in the back and is also short in the front, reducing surface area and making it perfect in hot weather, That said, the smallness still allows me to carry 2 500 flasks up front and 1 L bladder in the back if absolutely necessary. But sometimes I will forego the bladder, carry 2 flasks, and then in add the race belt and carry another 500 hybrid flask as well as my poles in the back of the race belt. It’s a perfect combination!
